I didn't have any issues with their technicians or the owner Bernie that went out of his way to come and inspect the work personally. Upon his inspection he discovered an issue I had with my garage and fixed it without any extra costs to me. Not only have I referred more people to Bernie's Garage Doors, I am also advertising his service on my radio shows! Someone who goes above and beyond as they have is worth the call!
Prompt and Excellent Knowledgeable Service! We are a production company that found ourselves in need of gate openers. Ours had gone out forcing us to open and close the gates by hand. They came to our aid and helped us not only get back into operations, but helped us with NEW motors that were needed. They didn't poke our eyes out trying to sell us their brand, they showed us different ones and helped us stay within budget to get the proper motors. Not only did they do this but their OWNER showed up and personally inspected the work making sure we would not be in need of repairs anytime soon. A definite goto company!

Faulty Gate Opener

Well don't let Bernie fool you with my review. I did use him back in May
of this year to install dual gate openers. I paid him close to $1,600
but soon lost my receipt. The gates never worked correctly. He
replaced batteries, the mother board, and the arm openers twice for a
total of three sets of arms. The last set he said were modified by him,
but he left wires exposed. I still had trouble and requested a refund.
He offered me $500 and I went to the BBB after he wouldn't comply.
After going back and forth, we both agreed to arbitrate at my expense.
He later presented a tampered with receipt showing I got a bigger
discount than he gave me, but I was somewhat satisfied by the amount the
arbitrator said he should refund me. He hasn't complied and I believe
he is close to losing his accreditation. He is very unprofessional.
Look at his myspace account where he uses profanity and a middle finger
if you are not a seahawks fan. Oh , Bernie, make sure you remove all
references to BBB accreditation if you lose, because I'll be watching.
I later found out another consumer fell victim to his faulty gates and a
much larger fee.
