2018 Majestic Theatre Main Stage Performers:
2018 Grammy Nominee- ‘Jazz Vocal Album of the Year’, Jazzmeia Horn Grammy Award Winner and 19x Grammy Nominee, Lee Ritenour Joyful jazz contemporaries Sammy Miller and The Congregation A Special Engagement with the US Air Force Dimensions in Blue Jazz Ensemble San Antonio hometown heroes  Jim Cullum Happy Jazz Band Local percussionist extraordinaire Audra Menconi and her Quintet The master of the marimbas, Toro Flores with Zarabande Smooth-as-silk saxophonist BillyRay Sheppardplus, The UTSA Jazz Ensemble
The KRTU Stage, presented by Paper Tiger, will also feature free performances from local favorites - Tony Romero’s The Spiders Jazz Quartet, DJ Chris Galvan, and 16 The Olympus, with a special Saturday matinee performance by the Alamo Heights High School Jazz Ensemble.
Additionally, the luxurious St. Anthony Hotel will play host to Crafter’s Union ‘Wine-Down’ After-Party on their beautiful rooftop bar from 10p-1am following the conclusion of the event in Travis Park on Saturday night. This year’s ‘Wine Down’ premiere performer will be none other than San Antonio’s stylish Jazz Crooner, Ken Slavin.
Alamo Music Center will be donating 3 painted pianos to the event as part of its partnership with Parks Foundation. Each piano will represent a different local San Antonio school (Alamo Heights, Brandeis, McNair). Besides providing impromptu fun for festival-goers, each school is slated for a pop-up performance in proximity to their piano throughout the weekend!
Also new this year, Bakery Lorraine opens a pop-u café experience in Travis Park, serving pastries and hot/cold coffee drinks throughout the entire event, and also hosting their first ‘Pop Tart Brunch’ on Saturday, September 22nd from 10am-1pm. They will be serving their world famous pop tarts, an assortment of other fresh pastries, and a range of quiche’s, all to compliment YOGA in the Park, courtesy of Southtown Yoga Loft happening that same morning.
