San Antonio Parks Foundation and Bohanan’s Prime Steaks & Seafood have officially announced details for a unique dining experience in Travis Park. 100% of proceeds will benefit the city’s official jazz festival, Jazz’SAlive. The Dinner Party in The Park will take place on Thursday, September 19th, beginning with premium hand-crafted cocktails at 7 pm, followed by a prime menu featuring locally sourced offerings by Executive Chef and Owner, Mark Bohanan. “Our city is strengthened as a whole when the downtown community comes together to celebrate and to give back to organizations that make a positive difference,” said Bohanan.
The Dinner Party in the Park will also feature a special private performance by one of San Antonio’s most accomplished jazz musicians and aficionados, Doc Watkins. Jazz’SAlive, now in the 36th year, is an integral part of downtown’s vibrant and thriving music and culinary scene. The live performance will be a first as it will take place “in the round” as the stage will hover above the lush floral landscaping in the center of Travis Park at 301 E. Travis. Single tickets and reserved tables of 10 are available.
Entry to the event will take place off Travis St., near the St. Anthony Hotel. Parking is accessible at Travis Park Garage or attendees may choose to valet at The St. Anthony Hotel.
