On April 13, 2008, the city opened its two-year redevelopment project and celebrated San Antonio's continual revitalization. Main Plaza's outdoor venue features five interactive fountains, free WiFi, free public parking on weekends, public restrooms, bistro-style seating with food and drinks for purchase on site at Blue Star Icehouse and El Oasis Café #2.
