The Sexology Institute is celebrating 5 years of keeping San Antonio sexy! We’re commemorating our 5th anniversary by hosting a celebration filled with cocktails, cake and a very special meet and greet with Mike Johnson from ABC’s The Bachelorette! Join San Antonio’s most eligible bachelor for a very special night in Southtown as he’ll be signing autographs and taking photos with attendees. Get ready for a night of celebration, sex education and sexy surprises. All proceeds raised during the meet and greet go to benefit resident sex coach, educator, and award-winning boudoir photographer, Angela Michelle.
Angela Michelle of Raven Red Photography, was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune blood clotting disorder in 2016 after a stroke. She was then diagnosed with CTEPH, chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension which is a form of pulmonary hypertension that affects the lungs. Nearly two years after she was formally diagnosed with this rare disease she was told she would need to go to California for a life saving surgery. The surgery was a success as the blood clots were removed and Angela could breathe again without the aide of an oxygen tank. However, after close medical monitoring and advisement, Angela will be heading back to California for a balloon angioplasty on her lungs.The surgery she had in 2018 saved her life but she is still showing symptoms of the disease and all tests show that her lungs are still compromised. Angela’s best shot at life is to return to San Diego to receive treatment at the best hospital in the world to treat this disease. All proceeds raised at this event will aide Angela with medical and travel expenses as she continues on her journey to health.
