A 2-day FREE event in downtown San Antonio bringing together traditional art & culture with the the best in live music. Details at www.muertosfest.com DIA DE LOS MUERTOS CELEBRATION brings together traditional art and culture with the best in live music entertainment to create a two-day destination event for the city to celebrate Day of the Dead. This year's event takes place October 28 & 29, 2017

FREE concerts are held at Arneson River Theatre. Past performers include La Santa Cecilia, Mexrrissey, Los Masters Plus, El Conjunto Nueva Ola, Nina Diaz, Piñata Protest, Las Tesoros, Master Blaster Sound System, Los Clavos del Wesso feat. John Castillo, Gina Chavez, Como las Movies, Making Movies and many more!

All events are free and open to the public and include: original Day of the Dead art; living altar; dance, drum and puppet procession; live poetry and more!
