Young and talented award-winning mariachi vocalists from throughout the nation will come together for a grand performance during the Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Recital.
Event Details
The recital includes finalists and winners from the 28th Annual Mariachi Extravaganza National Vocal Competition and participants from the Mariachi Extravaganza Summer Camp. Nayelli Peña, Grand Champion Vocal winner from Grulla, and finalists Dayanara Salinas from Roma and Marianna Rowan from Uvalde, will be amongst the featured soloists. The highlight of the evening will be 50 young mariachi vocalists, adorned in traditional mariachi trajes and Mexican-influenced dresses, singing as a choir in a breathtaking performance. While partaking in one of Mexico’s oldest traditions, these young artists offer a refreshing take on mariachi in a unique recital that is packed with culture, elegance and excitement.
