Start the day with Cinco de Mayo Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sip on The Rustic’s new Gentlemen’s Margarita – Herradura Select Barrel Reposado, Paula’s Orange, Gentlemen’s Jack and agave – while you jam out to free live music performed by an authentic mariachi band.

Then, get your face painted and salsa over to the Photo Booth to take complimentary pictures. Or, take a one-of-a-kind photo with a Miniature Donkey!

Once brunch ends, The Rustic invites Kentucky Derby fans – as well as connoisseurs of high fashion, great food and Mint Juleps – to join in the race-day fun.

Dress to impress in your finest Derby attire (or combine Cinco De Mayo and the Kentucky Derby into one awesome costume) for a chance to win great prizes in four Best Dressed contests, judged by local celebrities. The fashion experts will begin judging as soon as the soiree starts at 2 p.m. Categories include:

Enjoy the races with other Derby fans while you sip on the best Mint Juleps in town, made with Woodford Reserve Bourbon, lemon mint and a dash of Ysabel Regina Brandy served over crushed ice. Then indulge in a Kentucky Hot Brown sandwich created specifically for the party using smoked turkey and bacon, beefsteak tomatoes, mornay sauce and cotija cheese served on grilled Texas toast.
