Description
The County Line Community Band joins forces with Fort Sam's own 323rd Army Band to honor and remember the landings that liberated Europe.
Event Details
Working in unison with our patriotic partners in the 323rd Army band on Fort Sam, the County Line Community Band works to musically honor those who stormed the beaches on June 6th, 1944 during Operation Overlord. These landings would eventually lead to the liberation of Euorpe and the end of tyranny during WWII. A special musical premier will also be presented that was specially composed by Charles Booker titled "Undaughted Courage."
