Description
Mission Heritage Partners, the official friends’ group to the San Antonio Missions National Park, and the Texas Culinary Alliance will host the inaugural Mesa at the Mission at Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Event Details
The event, held in conjunction with San Antonio’s World Heritage Festival, combines the beauty of Texas’ only UNESCO World Heritage site, the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, with the city’s unique cultural food traditions. Mesa at the Mission will feature 8 to 10 culinary stations where 8 to 10 local and rising chefs will prepare samples of local historical food with modern twists and beers/wines/spirits.
Funds raised during the event will help preserve and protect the Park, meeting increasing visitor needs, improving the visitor experience, and enhancing the Park Service’s ability to manage the Park as part of the broader landscape of San Antonio.
