UIW alumni are invited back to “the Nest” to ring in the holiday cheer at the 2019 Light the Way Holiday Festival. To show our admiration for our Cardinal and Crusader alumni, UIW will be hosting an alumni-exclusive event for you to reminisce and celebrate the holiday season with your former classmates, family, and friends.

3-5 p.m. – Milk and Cookies with Santa
Don’t get coal in your stocking this year! Come to the UIW Student Engagement Center Mezzanine from 3-5 p.m. to meet and take photos with Santa Claus! Bring your family out to enjoy complimentary milk and cookies, compliments of the San Antonio Airport System, all while taking your cherished holiday photos with Santa.
7-9 p.m. – Alumni Wine & Cheese (while supplies last)
Enjoy a glass of wine with your fellow alumni at the UIW Alumni-Exclusive Wine & Cheese sponsored by Spectrum Reach. Alumni will have the opportunity to mingle with their previous classmates while enjoying the cozy, atmosphere of Luciano Ristorante & Pizzeria at Red’s Pub located in the bottom floor of the UIW Student Engagement Center. Each guest will receive two (2) free drink tickets for wine, while supplies last. Cheese, wine, and Cardinal Spirit – this is an event that you will not want to miss!
3-9 p.m. – CCVI Ministries Fair
In 2019, we are celebrating our founders, the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word (CCVI), as they mark their 150th anniversary! We are excited to welcome visitors from some of our sister ministries to join us for this festive occasion, including: Incarnate Word High School, Village of the Incarnate Word, Visitation House, and Sisters Angel Tree Project. Come learn about these wonderful ministries who truly embody the Mission of the Incarnate Word.
3-9 p.m. - Additional Offerings Activities
In addition to the events listed above, a UIW alumni-exclusive event attendee will have access to the other offerings of the Student Engagement Center:
Café, Luciano’s, Red’s Pub
Remember Marian Hall? Well, today UIW has a new face to its campus dining. Visit the Café, Luciano’s, and Red’s Pub to experience
