The San Antonio Cerveceros, in collaboration with Künstler Brewing, would like to formally invite you to participate in the Luck of the Irish Homebrew Competition. Entries will be judged by a panel of up to 25 Stammtisch members.

The San Antonio Cerveceros, in collaboration with Künstler Brewing, would like to formally invite you to participate in the Luck of the Irish Homebrew Competition. Entries will be judged by a panel of up to 25 Stammtisch members.
The winner of the competition will have an opportunity to brew their recipe on a pro system and see the beer sold at the brewery. In addition to supreme bragging rights, the winner will be able to buy that beer while it's on tap for a discounted price! Entries are limited so reserve your spot today!
Entries must comply with below rules in order to qualify:
- Max entries: 25 total, 1 per person/team
- Beer Style: Irish Red Ale (BJCP 2015 15A) BJCP Description
- Yeast brand: White Labs or Imperial - Yeast style is brewer choice
- Spending limit: $60 for 5 gallon batch (This includes the cost of grain, hops, yeast and any adjuncts)
Adjunct limitation: Adjuncts, if any should be limited. This is not a style typically associated with additions. Try to brew close to the style as laid out by the 2015 BCJP guidelines for category 15A.
OG minimum: 1.050 (Beer should be scalable to at least 5% ABV to comply with TABC regulations/label approval)
Must be brewed on a homebrew system
Entries will be submitted at a quantity of 2 x 22oz bombers. Contact president@sanantoniocerveceros.org or 314-258-3529 to arrange drop off of your submissions. Do NOT drop off beer at brewery without contacting this email/number or entries are subject to disqualification. Entries are due by January 31st, 2020.
Brewers may be present for spectating, but may not interact with judges until after the competition is complete.
