San Antonio Veteran Agency Council (SAVAC)
We are an organized council of individuals within our Veteran community who collaborate to achieve our common goal which is to help our Veterans and their families across the board.
Here is the purpose of the council:
-Establish working relationships among as many Veteran Service agencies in San Antonio and surrounding areas
-Foster the “warm handoff” concept when it comes to assisting Veterans and their families
-Collaborating on projects or events moving forward that are centered around assisting Veterans and their families
-Better understand the true need of each organization and how we can help achieve mission goals or requirements
-Networking/Build Relationships among other Veteran service organizations
-Establish strong communication between organizations

What to consider when recruiting veterans to work for your company
How best to provide ongoing employment support for veterans at your company
Lessons Learned: how to retain veterans at your company
How to enhance accessibility at your workplace for veterans who may or may not request accommodation(s)
Panel discussion by Veteran Employer experts.
