Cactus Pear Music Festival kicks off Season 26 "On The Threshold" with 6 Programs and 19 World-Class musicians.

Event Details

CPMF kicks off its summer Festival season, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, and runs through Saturday, July 16. We start with a free "In C" concert in Wimberley, Texas at the Chapel in the Hills —limited to 80 seats ("ticket" reservation required; address specified in ticket). Then over the two-week festival at Trinity Baptist Church, you'll hear 6 programs and 19 phenomenal musicians with an arc of programming that will be world-class from start to finish.

WEEK ONE

July 6 & 7, In C • July 8, French Whispers • July 9, Swan Song

Stephanie and Ryo are joined by violinist Ellen dePasquale, violists Colin Sorgi and Katarzyna Bryla-Weiss, and cellists Beth Rapier and Anthony Ross.

WEEK 2 with Special Guest Artists the Miró Quartet

July 14, Teutonic Triumphs • July 15, A Party of Six • July 16, On the Threshold

Pianist Scott Cuellar joins Stephanie and Ryo along with the Miró Quartet, violinist Sandy Yamamoto, cellist Lachezar Kostov, bassist Zlatan Redzic, clarinetist Ilya Shterenberg, bassoonist Sharon Kuster, and hornist Jeff Garza, as violist Ms. Bryla-Weiss continues her beautiful playing through week 2.
