Metropolitan Contracting was organized in 1986 in San Antonio, Texas and has successfully completed more than 2,500 projects across 26 states. We employ about 70 people, including 10 project managers. Metropolitan's own labor can perform concrete work, steel stud framing, drywall construction, ceiling installation and general carpentry giving our customers more control over schedule, quality and budget. Our peers have recognized our work with over 2-dozen Excellence in Construction and safety awards, including 2 coveted Eagle Awards, the highest award given in Associated Builders and Contractors' national competition. By choice, all of our work is performed for the private-sector…no schools, no courthouses, no airports. We have built our reputation helping owners like you construct office buildings, retail centers, industrial projects and medical facilities. And not just entire "ground-up” projects. In fact, our interior finish-out division is generally regarded as the largest operation in our region.
