Description

The area north of Loop 410 was annexed by the City of San Antonio in the 1950s shortly after the completion of Loop 410 and was developed in the 1960s and 1970s by H.B. Zachry. The neighborhood enjoys beautiful mature trees and the northern portion of the neighborhood was frequently referred to as an "Enchanted Forest". The homes exhibit a variety of styles and floor plans, and most facades are of stacked stone or brick construction. The neighborhood also has a variety of housing types including townhomes, condominiums and apartments. Greater Harmony Hills residents enjoy the central location and easy access to nearby North Star Mall, Park North, and the San Antonio International Airport. The Harmony Hills Cabana Club is a wonderful neighborhood amenity with its swimming pools, tennis courts, beach volley ball court, and club house, and is home of the "Dolphins" swimming team. The GHHNA was founded in 1995, and meets quarterly on the last Thursday of the month at the Cabana Club, 339 Fantasia, at 7 p.m. Check our calendar of events for meeting dates and times.
