Maria McGuire Apartments

Description

Built in 1925, Marie McGuire Apartments has served a variety of purposes throughout the years. First known as the Ogilvie Building, it served as an office/parking facility. In 1979, SAHA purchased the building and dedicated it as the Marie McGuire Apartments to provide affordable housing to San Antonio. After over 30 years serving as SAHA residences, the building was closed for a major renovation. Renovations included a complete upgrade of all residential units, common spaces, HVAC system, and parking lot and building facades. In 2014, SAHA reoccupied the renovated building as the Lofts at Marie McGuire and it currently serves 63 elderly/disabled residents.
