A fun morning at the San Antonio Zoo for Will Smith Zoo School students, siblings, and alumni!
Event Details
Do you have last-minute holiday shopping to finish? We’ll watch the kids while you enjoy an uninterrupted morning of holiday preparations!
The fun begins at the Education Center at 9:00 am. We will meet some amazing animals behind-the-scenes, enjoy an up-close animal encounter, take a zoo walk, create Zoo-themed crafts, decorate a holiday cookie, and more!
A pizza lunch is included. Children should bring a reusable water bottle, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a jacket for our outdoor activities.
General Information
• Date: Saturday, December 12, 2020
•Registration Begins: November 16, 2020
•Fee: $40 per child, payable the day of the event
•Times: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drop-off and pick-up times will be staggered.
•Location: Drop off and pick up at the Education Center (Maps will be provided)
Booking Information
All participants must be enrolled at WSZS, be an alumni of WSZS, or be a WSZS sibling who is toilet-trained and younger than 10 years old. Space is limited, so all participants must be preregistered prior to the event.
NOTE: You will pay the day of the event using either cash, check, or debit/credit card. We can also charge the account on file in your student's Tuition Express account.
Safety Measures
•All staff will be required to wear face coverings that cover the nose and mouth during the program.
•Per the San Antonio Zoo, all children MUST bring a face covering to wear during animal encounters, regardless of age.
•Temperature checks and health screening at check-in prior to entry into the Education Center.
•Participants will have regularly scheduled hand washing breaks, and hand sanitizer will be available in activity spaces.
